The Bedroom Project

The Bedroom ProjectThe Bedroom Project have earned themselves a worthy reputation as one of the most hardworking bands in the South West network. Spontaneous and furious live shows, unsuited and sporadic bill appearances, a dedication to DIY `off the cuff` gig promotion and participation, and purveyors of the Plymouth punk/rock music scene has helped earn the band an elusive hysteria that follows them from show to show across the UK.

As the band enters their eighth year they now have an impressive resume of work to boast. Their impressive 2004 debut `new promises won’t change things, if your dreams were stolen from films`, is a frenzied mix of punk rock rhythms, textured guitars, and thought-provoking lyrics. Whilst 2008’s, ‘the world is not watching’ really sees the band hone their sound into a groove laden, melodic, yet seriously punk rock ’n’ roll fury. Throughout their career they have also had a host of tours and live shows which have included playing with the likes of Biffy Clyro, Million Dead and Fighting with Wire. The Bedroom Project are currently piling in the hours at UPR head-quarters towards an epic third release that will eclipse the previous offerings, a 12-track punk-rock attack of edgy guitars, driving rhythm and anthemic vocals. Yet again highlighting that The Bedroom Project are a relentless machine of integrity and innovation.

2010 should see the Project in full swing with live material from their third album taking their live experience to new levels. Expect more live appearances, more press hysteria, more DIY and underground dabbling, and a sensational third album.
