Parking
Q. Can I park next to my tent?
A. No, parking is provided free of charge about 5 minutes walk from the site. The only exception is if you hae a camper van or other live in vehicle ( a vehicle properly adapted for sleeping).
Q. How much does it cost to park?
A. Nothing, it’s free. We use the fields belonging to the Donkey Centre, so if you want to make a donation, that would be great! Please also leave the fields clean for the Donkeys to return to.
Q.Can we go back to our car during the festival?
A. Yes, at any time until the site closes ( 1.30am on Friday, 2.00am on Saturday)
Camping
Q. Is there a quiet/family camping area?
A. Yes, turn left after ticketing instead of right. We expect people to be quiet here after the music has finished each night.
Q. Can I camp if I only have a day ticket?
A. Yes, you will need to purchase a camping ticket, and you will only be admitted to the arena on the days for which you hold a festival ticket.
Q. I have a lot of camping gear - how do I get it to the campsite?
A. We have quad bikes to help from the car park to the site
Q. What time is the campsite open?
A. From 12 noon on Friday to 12 noon on Monday. We’ll be throwing you out then, unless you want to stay and help clear up.
Tickets
Q. How many in a family ticket, and does it have to be my family?
A. Any combination of 2 adults (at least one over 21), 2 11-15 year olds and 2 10 and unders.
Q. Do I need a ticket for my under 10’s?
A. Yes, everybody needs a ticket ( our capacity is restricted), but 10 and under tickets are free of charge.
Q. I’m 14 - can I come by myself?
A. No, if you are 15 or under you will need to be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over. You don’t have to stick to them all weekend, but we will want to be able to track them down pretty fast if something goes wrong.
Q. How many under 15's can come with each adult?
A. As many as the adult is prepared to take responsibility for. We need to be able to locate the adult on site in the event of a problem.
Q.Can I bring my dog?
A. No, unless it’s a guide dog. No other pets are allowed either!
Q. Can I bring glass on site?
A. No. The festival is in a public park, and the risk of broken glass is too great.
Q. Can I pay by card or cheque on the gate?
A. No, we can only accept CASH on the gate.
DRINKING
Q.Can I bring my own alcohol?
A. Yes. If you are 18 or over, you can bring your own alcohol, but this must be drunk in the camping area. You may also purchase and drink alcohol in the arena. You will be permitted to take purchased alcohol back to your camping area, but you can't bring your own alcohol in to the arena.
Please also note that glass will NOT be permitted as Filham Park is a public space that is used throughout the year.
Q. Is there a cashpoint on site?
A. No, the nearest cashpoints are in Ivybridge, about 15 minutes walk from the festival site.
